Samadhi Moss

Samadhi Moss is a small-batch gel brand — a correction to how we had them filed. Six of their nine consumable SKUs are refrigerated 16 oz gels, the dried moss is two SKUs pitched mostly at wholesale (one of them out of stock), and the overwhelming majority of their customer reviews sit on the gels. Original runs $38 for 16 oz ($2.38/oz), with five flavoured versions at $39–$40.

Two things set them apart from the rest of our roster, and neither is a marketing claim.

Their labels and photography are clean. Across every product image we inspected, there is not one health claim, marketing overlay or benefits infographic — and the "92 of 102 minerals" myth appears nowhere on their site, which we cannot say of any other brand we track. The powder's side label even carries the full FDA disclaimer and an unpasteurised-product warning voluntarily. In a category that routinely prints claims onto packaging, that restraint is worth naming.

Their sourcing is specific. Belize, wild-harvested, species named on the pack (Eucheuma cottonii), with a stated yield printed on the dried-moss bag rather than implied.

The gap is the same one everyone has: no published lab documents. We enumerated their sitemap — no COA, no heavy-metals panel, no named lab. And because their gel is raw and unpasteurised with a short refrigerated life, it sits in exactly the product class the January 2026 recall was about, which makes process-authority documentation more relevant here than average, not less.
