Sea moss went from Caribbean and Irish kitchen tradition to a multi-billion-dollar wellness category in about five years. The marketing scaled faster than the documentation did: products vary widely in species and sourcing, published heavy-metal testing is the exception rather than the rule, and almost nobody publishes anything about how their gel is actually made.

BuySeaMoss is the buyer’s guide we couldn’t find: one that treats lab reports as documents to read rather than badges to display, records recall history, grades food-safety posture, and reduces every jar to price-per-ounce so marketing can’t hide the math. Then it tells you which one to buy.

The site is reader-supported through disclosed affiliate links — the model is described plainly in our affiliate disclosure — and operates under published editorial standards, several of which are enforced by our build system rather than by promises.

We are not clinicians and don’t play them on the internet. Health-related pages cite primary sources and carry a medical disclaimer; if that ever changes, it will be because a real, named, credentialed reviewer joined — not because we invented one.
