Essential Sea Moss runs the widest product line of any brand we track — unflavored and fruit-infused gels in three sizes, capsules, gummies with bladderwrack and burdock, wildcrafted raw moss, plus a body-care range of bath bars, lotion and wash. Multi-month bundles run to a five-month supply.

The body-care line is a real differentiator, and topical use is the one application where the evidence is strongest. The size range matters too: their unflavored gel runs $24.95 for 8 oz, $34.95 for 16 oz, and $44.95 for 32 oz — $3.12, $2.18 and $1.40 per ounce respectively. That last figure is the cheapest per-ounce gel in our roster, and it's the kind of tiering most buyers miss because the small jar is the default choice.

Capsules and gummies, not just gel

They are the only brand in our roster selling all three formats, which matters more than it sounds: the gel is the format people quit. It needs refrigeration, it lasts weeks rather than months, and its taste is the single most common complaint in the category. Capsules and gummies trade the freshness and the flexibility for a product that survives a busy week.

• Bladderwrack & Burdock Capsules — $39.95 for 60 capsules. The blend, not plain sea moss: Irish moss with bladderwrack and burdock root, plus BioPerine. Two capsules a day makes it a one-month supply, so this is $39.95 a month, not a jar you finish when you finish it.
• Sea Moss Gummies — $35.95 for 60, mixed berry, with raw bladderwrack and burdock. The answer to the taste objection, and the format most likely to actually get taken daily.

Per-ounce math doesn't apply to either, which is exactly why we don't print a per-ounce figure on them. Compare them on cost per day instead: both land near $1.20–$1.33, against roughly $0.70 a day for a 32 oz jar of their gel at a 1 tablespoon serving. You pay about double for convenience. That is a defensible trade if the alternative is a jar you stop opening — and a bad one if it isn't.

What we won't reproduce

The capsule bottle's own label is printed with "Blood Flow", "Memory & Cognition", "Anti Fatigue" and "Immunity Boosting", each carrying the asterisk that points at the standard supplement disclaimer. That wording is the manufacturer's to make on their own packaging. It isn't ours to repeat, so we illustrate that product rather than photograph it — our own rules on claim language don't stop applying because the words arrived as pixels instead of text. Their older Irish moss capsule listing also repeats the 92-minerals myth, which is worth knowing about any brand's copy before you take the rest of it at face value.

What their buyers say

Their unflavored gel carries 4.95 out of 5 from 367 reviews on the brand's own store — merchant-hosted reviews, not independent ones, which is why we display the figure but never fold it into our own ratings. Reading through them, four themes repeat: people using the gel on their skin rather than eating it (the one application where the evidence is strongest); energy and workout recovery, by far the most common; sleep, mentioned unprompted more than once; and taste — reviewers volunteer that it is an acquired one, with lemon juice or warm water as the usual fix. That last theme is the honest case for the gummies.

The gap

Our evaluation criteria don't change: we found no published lab testing or COA library, and the food-safety posture of the gel line is undocumented publicly. Requested; will update.
